David Suzuki, a Canadian academic, science broadcaster and environmental activist, has a Ph.D in zoology and was a professor in the genetics department at the University of British Columbia from 1963 until his retirement in 2001. As a geneticist, Professor Suzuki makes clear why GMO foods are based on bad science and why GMO labeling is needed.
