Get Festive DIY Backyard Spring Wildflower Centerpiece

You’ll find almost everything you need to make this colorful centerpiece in your garden or neighborhood. If not, you can find what you need at your local craft store.

What You’ll Need
Craft glue
Scissors
Foam wreath
Moss, wood shavings or sticks
Flowers
Vase
Plastic or paper-mâché eggs
Piece of cardboard or paper plate

Instructions

1. On the foam wreath, place globs of glue about 5 inches apart, and then put the moss, wood shavings and/or sticks into the glue. Continue this in increments until the entire wreath is covered and looks like a bird’s nest.

2. Glue the cardboard or paper plate to the bottom. Note: If your glue doesn’t want to stick to the wreath, you can pin or staple them together.

3. Allow the “nest” to fully dry.

4. Meanwhile take your flowers and cut and arrange them in your vase.

5. Once the nest is dry, place the vase in the center (the hole of the wreath).

6. Arrange your eggs to sit around the vase.

7. Decorate with any additional flowers around the nest.
