Urban Youth Farm Rocks the Dirt

Meet the crew of Marion-Polk Food Share’s Youth Farm. This mini documentary introduces us to a group of Salem, Oregon high school students operating a two-acre organic farm in the middle of the city. They are growing food for the local community, a large portion of it donated to low income food outlets. The students also operate a farmer’s market stand. 

The results are impressive, both in the volume of food produced and in the development and growth of the students involved.
