Digestive Bliss: Grapefruit and Ginger Kombucha Mimosa
By Sonnet Lauberth, Holistic Health Coach, author of In Sonnet’s Kitchen
Kombucha is a traditional fermented tea that is gaining popularity because it contains beneficial probiotics that support the digestive system. But kombucha newbies might not always enjoy its vinegar-like taste. However, when combined with ginger and grapefruit, this kombucha “mimosa” becomes a delicious and powerful tonic full of nutrients that support the digestive system, allowing you to get all of the benefits while masking any tangy flavors.
Note: Natural Calm can also be substituted for kombucha in this recipe. Pick Natural Calm flavor of choice and add 3–4 teaspoons to 16 ounces of sparkling water in place of kombucha.
